SMS opt-in & opt-out

When you create a Plya Med account, you can opt in to receive text messages from us about your account and orders. This page explains exactly what we send, how often, and how to stop.
What messages you'll receive
Plya Med sends two kinds of SMS, both transactional. We never send marketing or promotional texts.
- Order notifications.When your clinic places an order through Plya Med, we'll text you when the order is received, when it ships (with tracking), and when it arrives.
- Account security codes. One-time codes when you reset your password or verify a new device.
How often
Frequency varies. Most clinics receive 1–4 order-related messages per week. Password-reset codes are sent only when you request them. There are no recurring or scheduled marketing campaigns.
How we collect your consent
Consent is collected during account signup. On the signup form, you'll see a required checkbox before account creation:
"I agree to receive SMS from Plya Med at the mobile number provided, including order updates and account-security codes. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Text STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See our privacy policy."
Your phone number is stored only after you check this box and complete signup. You can update your number or revoke consent any time in your account settings.
How to opt out
Reply STOPto any Plya Med message at any time. You'll receive one final confirmation that you've been unsubscribed, and we'll stop sending SMS to your number. You can also remove your number from your account settings inside the platform.
Opting out of SMS does not remove email notifications. To stop those, manage them in your account preferences.

Carrier disclaimer
Message and data rates may apply. Plya Med does not charge to send or receive SMS, but your mobile carrier may. Message delivery is subject to carrier and recipient device limitations.
We use Twilio as our SMS service provider. Messages are sent only to U.S. phone numbers.
Privacy
We never sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing. Phone numbers are used only for the transactional purposes described above and shared with our SMS provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the messages.
